Monica Bounds is the visionary and founder of Biz Bosses Book Club. Monica is the Owner of MAB Virtual Solutions, LLC and is a Virtual Assistant (VA) that saves time and money for business owners by providing specialized administrative, technical, and creative support solutions. She loves managing projects and partnering with her clients! Monica has over 20 years of administrative experience working with both private and public companies. She has worked in the banking, biopharmaceutical, and healthcare industries as well as the collegiate and non-profit sectors.
Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Administration with an option in Human Services; a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications specializing in Public Relations with double minors in Marketing and Promotion Management. Monica has completed the Business Owners Success Series (BOSS) certificate program. She is also a member of the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA).
Monica has taken her experience to the classroom setting at Prince George’s Community College where she instructs and shares with other business owners on various topics to grow their businesses. She also helps other VA’s take the launch in the industry. Monica has been delighted to be a guest panelist for the “Ask the Experts: Small Business Panel” at Prince George’s Community College where she has shared her knowledge, skills, and lessons about creating and managing your own entrepreneurship opportunities.
Monica is also the visionary and event host of Biz Plus Brunch that launched in early 2016. Her goal was to create an ongoing event that is designed with entrepreneurs (or aspiring entrepreneurs) in mind committed to building their businesses. And since a good discussion is always even better with food…Biz over Brunch was birthed with rave reviews. She is also the owner of Monica’s Chictique, an online boutique that offers chic and stylish statement necklaces.
She believes in providing excellent communication and customer service skills that exceed her clients’ expectations. The importance of customer service was the focus of her first blog that provided insight on building your customer service brand! She enjoys blogging on various topics for business owners and beyond.
